Proposal Manager

Rackspace is seeking a new Proposal Manager. The Proposal Manager prepares and manages proposals in accordance with policies and guidelines enforced by the client.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and manage responses to RFPs.
• Design proposal templates for all aspects of proposal development.
• Coordinate proposal teams, both internally and externally, to ensure proposals are accurate, successful and timely.
• Create graphics for use in proposals and marketing presentations.
• Work collaboratively within the organization to support the interests and needs of our clients and to broaden the business base of the company.

The most competitive candidate will have the following:

• Good knowledge of sales principles and proposal development.
• Solid writing and editing skills.
• Good communication, decision-making, and organization skills.
• Effective planning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales functions with at least 3 years of experience in the field.
