Business Development Manager

The successful candidate will join a fast growing industrial insulation contractor with locations in four (4) states specializing in new and renovation construction (installing insulation on new equipment and providing scaffolding service) for Electric Power Generating Plants and Refineries.

Our Sales Growth Initiative has tripled Sales over the past three years creating a need for an additional Business Development Manager reporting directly to the President. At the peak of the maintenance season in 2008, the Company employed over 500 people (maintenance and construction crews).
The selected candidate’s primary responsibilities will be identifying and initiating direct contact with potential clients (large industrial General Contractors) to develop strategic relationships ensuring market share growth. The strategic and key position will serve as the primary resource to produce opportunities for formal requests for project bids. The key challenges include: creating and executing a Business Development Plan, establishing, nurturing and maintaining positive multiple relationships within a client’s organization and securing requests for project bids.

Join one veteran Business Development Executive in this highly visible role strategically placed within the organization to lead the Business Development initiative. The geographical region includes Houston, Texas and east to the Atlantic shore and includes Charlotte, North Carolina and south to the Gulf. The position will require you to draw from all your knowledge; skills, abilities and experience to ensure new clients are developed and served.
