What does it take for a non-technical marketing professional to break through the proverbial “glass ceiling” at an AEC firm and find their seat in the C-Suite? The answer is more than just working hard, doing your job right, and being loyal to your employer. Through this lively panel discussion, attendees will hear stories of inspiration by veteran AEC marketers around the Nation who have persevered through work and life’s challenges and found success in “owning” their jobs, their careers and their life paths. Panelists will demonstrate specific examples of how they were able to connect the dots between operational functions at their firms, share entrepreneurial advice that allowed them to think and act more like entrepreneurs in their jobs, and provide insight as to what “thinking like an owner” looks like.
