We want your SMPS experience to add value to you and to your firm, we know that this is accomplished by getting involved. Each Committee is inherently unique, but they all provide an opportunity to connect with your professional peers and develop skill sets that are transferable.
PROGRAMS
This is the committee for you if you are organized, like to plan events, and perhaps even want to meet a client or two!
The Programs Committee is charged with planning and implementing events that offer unique, timely and insightful information to GET WORK! Topics range from client panel discussions to facilitating networking events with the top owners and clients in the area.

If you are looking to get connected quickly with other SMPS Members and love to spearhead social events, you are meant for Membership.
The Membership Committee is all about creating lasting relationships to continue building a strong chapter for SMPS and our city. This Committee plans several annual events for current and potential members that illustrate the value of joining the SMPS San Antonio Chapter.

Does the thought of securing high-profile venues, planning event logistics, and creating alluring themes and decorations excite you? You should probably join the special events committee!
The Special Events Committee is responsible for planning all special events (mixers, awards gala, etc.)!

If you like to plan events and are passionate about furthering members' professional development, this is the committee for you.
The Education Committee is responsible for planning and implementing professional development opportunities. Educational events are designed to help marketers and business developers at all levels do their job better and enhance their career.

Are you a great writer? Have a knack for graphic design? Consider yourself a social media guru? Then the Communications is for you!
The Communications Committee is responsible for the public image of the San Antonio Chapter, as well as the various communication tools used to relay information to members and guests. Everything from website updates to email announcements was created by this committee!
